Skin Care to Beat Winter Dryness

This year I wanted to create content in different areas so I’m finally, slowly (very) working on video content, which I know lots of people prefer over reading. It’s an endeavor because I never knew how awkward it is to talk to a camera–it’s supes awks and I’m super awkward so that is weird, but I slowly am getting used to it. Let me know what you think!

With that said, I thought it would be a simple first video to talk about skin care routine in the wintertime because the temperature in Chicago gets crazy disrespectful and my skin pays a major price.

I’m sure we can all agree that the winter months are the worst when it comes to our skincare. We work hard all year round to try and make sure that our skin is in perfect condition, only for it to get ruined when we get into the coldest months of the year. What I hate the most is how it draws the moisture from your face because it just leaves it dry and uncomfortable. Not forgetting that when we escape the winter winds to come indoors, the dry air that we could be experiencing then can make the problem worse (believe it or not). If not taken care of properly, it can lead to cracked and bleeding skin – which is something that you definitely don’t want to experience.

Skincare is important, which is why I want to educate more people on the products that I like to use, and how they can make a difference to your skin too.

What do you use in the winter? Or are you lucky to live in a place that doesn’t have to deal with winter skin?
